Desra Mascani Eleutherian Guard Villore Accords 5	Posted - 2013.03.12 20:52:00 - [1] - Quote Greetings Capsuleers. The Eleutherian Guard [EL-G], founded by Luminaire General Seriphyn Inhonores, is a Federal capsuleer paramilitary actively taking part in the war with the Caldari State and the Amarrian Empire, on behalf of the Gallente Federation and all it's member-nations. We are actively recruiting more pilots who wish to assist in these efforts. The Guard does not discriminate on race, gender, age or religious beliefs, so long as aspiring Eleutherians are willing to work for the Federation's well-being, as well as that of themselves and their comrades-to-be. Our requirements for enrollment are as follows - Prospective Eleutherians need to have maintained their pilot's license for a minimum of 21 days - many pilots who graduate are unsure of their desire to maintain their license or if they should dedicate themselves to the life of a capsuleer. After three weeks most will have accumulated a small fortune, and some retired back to the life of a base-liner - rich beyond the wildest dreams of most humans. Those who don't and continue their lives as capsuleers are welcome to seek enrollment in the Eleutherian Guard. - A neutral or positive standing with the Federation is required for enrollment. Those with negative standings or listed offenses will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be enrolled if they demonstrate a willingness to correct their mistakes and fix their standings as soon as possible. For those unwilling to do this, enrollment in the EL-G is pointless. - A willingness to fight and possibly lose assets and clones in combat is mandatory. The Guard is involved in a war and there are no plans to extract from the war-zone anytime soon. Guardsmen need to maintain a fleet of ships and needed assets and be willing to bring these to battle alongside our allies in the Villore Accords alliance, the Federal Defense Union in general and our comrades-in-arms in the Republican Tribal Liberation Force. - A lawful mindset. The Guard operates with a Code Of Conduct that Guardsmen are required to follow. Our Rules Of Engagement will also be followed at all times, failure to abide by either COC or ROE either accidental or deliberate is punishable by disciplinary action, repeated offenses by expulsion. As a member of the EL-G you have several advantages over general FEDEF personnel. - The Guard is a member of the Villore Accords alliance [GMVA] and we work alongside our alliance's member corporations in most matters. Guardsmen have access to alliance-grade intelligence channels and will rarely operate blind in the war-zone. Furthermore, with a large rooster of willing pilots finding assistance in combat is not very hard, nor will there ever be a lack of pilots to fleet with and assist in the daily execution of the war. - The Guard as well as the alliance has a number of veteran pilots who would be happy to lend assistance however needed, be this ship-equipment advice, evaluation of skills and tactics, cooperation in any manner of work, or anything in between. The EL-G are a RolePlay (RP) corporation maintaining the position as loyalists to the Federated Union of Gallente Prime, also known simply as 'the Gallente', the 'GalFed' or simply 'The Federation'. The corporation's identity, corporate-level actions, reactions and existence is completely In-Character (IC). In day-to-day operations however, the corporation is Out-Of-Character (OOC), maintaining an open-door, opt-in, stance. (RP-light). This lets anyone who wants to be a member join and play the game in a regular manner, as well as offering would-be Roleplayers the freedom to play their characters entirely IC between themselves and towards everyone else in the game. Corp-chat is strictly OOC, but anyone who wish it can chat-up IC in our public channel, Eleutheria or our internal IC channel, as well as in local, on the forums, in convos and with their guns in PVP. Keep in mind however that the EL-G does not condone piracy, slavery, scamming or other activities outlawed by it's parent-nation, so if you RP an Imperial slaver or pirate, for instance, you are not very likely to fit in... RP'er or not, you will be expected to abide by the corporations COC and ROE at all times, and to respect the choices made by your fellow corp-mates; don't hassle the RP'ers about their choice, or insist the non-RP'ers RP with you if this is undesired. Keep it OOC in corp, IC in Eleutheria. - You will need a working microphone and access to Teamspeak 3 and/or Ventrillo, both free programs for live coms. These are utilized by the corp and the alliance in fleet operations of all sizes and are essential for anything but solo roaming, and often even that. - Keep in mind as well that everyone in this corp consider real life to trump EVE. As amazing as EVE Online is, sometimes people need breaks, or things come up. However if you do go on a break or hiatus for whatever reason, let us know, so we don't accidentally cull you for inactivity after a few months. Hope to see you in-game o7
